When my family decided to expand our farming operations, my father wanted to purchase some used Deere tractors. But we couldn't find anything locally. I was able to come to the rescue for him.
It all started when we were in need for some used tractor tires and other used parts John Deere manufactured, preferably. But the owners of the used tractor parts warehouse were closed for a couple of weeks for their yearly vacation. But we were desperate and needed a clutch, spindle and water pump, pronto. So I started looking online.
That's when I found the best place to shop for all things used relating to John Deere, and to my surprise, used Deere tractors, too.
Not long after that, our expansion began. But finding local used Deere tractors that were available was difficult. Seems that John Deere tractors are so good, it's hard to find a nearby used Deere tractor for sale. And we needed more than one.
So, I told my father, "Why don't we purchase the used Deere tractors we want online?" My father just tilted his head and gave me that RCA dog type of look. You see, my father has computer phobia. He's afraid to click on the mouse for fear of what it might do. 
So, I told him I would take care of it.
After my good experience of purchasing used John Deere tractor parts on eBay, I found that it is an excellent showroom to shop for used Deere tractors, too. I simply make sure I communicate with the seller and ask any questions about the Deere tractors to make sure their are no misunderstandings. If the seller has a high rating, I feel comfortable purchasing from him.
Since our expansion, my father tells all his farming buddies they should check with me before ever purchasing any used Deere tractors or parts. I've become sort of the consultant on this.
But all of his friends are are as afraid of the computer as my father is! As a result, it started taking a lot of my time. I ended up having to the do the research for each one of them. Whether it was a 70 series, an 8000 series, or a pulling tractor, a loading tractor, or a backhoe. I simply didn't have the time to personally help each of these farmers. So my wife suggested I put up this site with all the current best used Deere tractors deals and make it available to everyone.
